By accessing and using PillSim ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by these terms, you are not authorized to use or access the Service.
These Terms of Service apply to all users of the Service, including without limitation users who are healthcare professionals, administrators, and institution representatives.

PillSim is a medication image similarity search system designed to assist healthcare professionals in identifying look-alike medications. The Service includes:
Image Analysis
AI-powered analysis of medication images to detect and identify drug components.
Similarity Search
Vector-based similarity matching against a database of known medications.
Database Management
Tools for maintaining and updating medication records and images.
Administration
User management and system configuration capabilities.
3. Important Medical Disclaimer
Critical Notice
- PillSim is a decision support tool and should NOT be used as the sole basis for medication identification or clinical decisions.
- Results should always be verified by qualified healthcare professionals using established protocols.
- The Service does not replace professional medical judgment, pharmaceutical verification, or regulatory compliance procedures.
- Always refer to official medication labeling, packaging, and pharmaceutical references for definitive identification.
4. User Accounts and Responsibilities
When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- All activities that occur under your account.
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- Ensuring your use complies with applicable laws and regulations.
- Using the Service only for its intended professional purposes.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree NOT to use the Service to:
- Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights.
- Transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful software.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by PillSim and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of any images you upload. By uploading images, you grant PillSim a non-exclusive license to process, analyze, and store these images as necessary to provide the Service.
7. Data Protection and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring that any data you upload complies with applicable data protection regulations, including but not limited to HIPAA, GDPR, and Thailand's PDPA.
8. Service Availability
We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance and updates.
- System upgrades and improvements.
- Unforeseen technical issues or emergencies.
- Factors beyond our reasonable control.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime in advance.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PILLSIM AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
- Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service;
- Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service;
- Any content obtained from the Service;
- Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content;
- Errors or inaccuracies in similarity search results.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PillSim and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including without limitation if you breach these Terms of Service.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Service.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Thailand, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand.
